Lember Limited specialises in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and heat transfer for the Oil&Gas industry, built environments, HVAC systems and fire & smoke propagation.
The company was founded in 2014, with a wealth of broad experience gained over more than 15 years in industry.
Our team has successfully provided state-of-the-art solutions for the Oil&Gas and process industry, internal and external flow for the built environment, fire/smoke spread in rail and road tunnels and automotive.
Computation Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is an advanced virtual tool used to simulate the interaction between complex fluid and solid systems, with and without heat transfer, under various conditions. It enables designers to gain an in depth understanding of the behaviour of their system at an early stage, thus allowing them to produce the most cost effective design decisions, whilst maximising the performance.
CFD is successfully used in the process, chemical and oil and gas industry to assess the performance of process and production plants without the need to invest large capitals for the manufacturing of prototypes.
In the building industry, CFD can successfully predict the performance of HVAC systems for large and complex buildings, thus maximising their energy performance to adhere to the continuously increasing challenges of zero carbon emissions targets.
In road and rail tunnels, CFD is used to assess the efficiency of fire suppression systems and effectiveness of emergency ventilation and smoke control strategies under a large number of scenarios.
